Dogs, Coffee and Silver City
Sydney gets a lot of frisbee time at the property. She always seems to be up for more though. That’s where dog ‘water skiing’ comes in. More on that later…
Hello everybody! I apologize for the humongous break in blogging. If you aren’t following our Build/Adventure Blog then you may not know why I disappeared for the past 1.5 years. Here’s a brief recap –
- Sold our house in CT (Summer 2014)
- Left CT (November 2014)
- Explored the southwest and selected a city to call home – Silver City, New Mexico (December 2015)
- Purchased land to build our tiny house (January 2015)
- Opened a coffee roastery – Bean Vivant (April 2015)
- Started building our tiny house (Summer 2015)
We have been working a LOT, splitting our time between the coffee shack (~70 hours a week) and working on the house during every other spare moment. And now, with great excitement, I can say – We are nearly done with the house!
I hope to return to blogging about Trooper and Sydney very soon. They’ve gone through a lot over the past year and a half. They’re occasionally featured on RimlandTales.com but not really in the context of training. Once the house is complete and the coffee shop is going smoothly, we will be back!
